Oh, nice find. Those adapters for the AJ33 engine work in the AJ26/27. I welded mine up to an AN10 bung to the use ptfe braided line to a new oil cooler. All working fine and leak free but would have saved me a ton of work. I searched hard and didn't find anything. Good find and bookmark that for the future. That can replace the whole lines and jag oil cooler for the much cheaper and more cost effective modern materials approach

danio, did you run one-piece of ptfe braided line all the way from engine to cooler with no fittings in between?
Did you use nylon braided or stainless? I think nylon is supposed to be more flexible doing a smaller radius.

AN10 ptfe braided. Its easier to connect to the hose ends. It is flexible enough from my route to the cooler.

My car is UK so driver sits on the left

Passenger side I got away with 1 long piece of hose from the engine to the cooler.
Drivers side i used 2 90 degree turns to mimic the turns out of the engine bay to the section where its in the bumper area. I zoom in on the photo provided here so you see the section I mean.

I used a mocal cooler, same size as original as i have an extra fan on the supercharger rad. I used the mocal rubber mounts which essentially go straight on to the original cooler mounting rail.

I used a 60 degree an10 to an10 bung welded on to the engine pipe interface.

That would be then different if you use the adapters that have been shown here from swallows.

I really wish i had seen them, would have got them. That part, the an10 bung to weld on to the engine interface adapter pipe was an absolute pain. Im not the best welder.. i got it done though...

Aprt from that, for me, that was an easy job just time consuming and slow to be methodical.

Ive done a lot worse jobs on this car

Has anyone found a shop willing to rebuild the X100 oil cooler lines in the Chicago area?
