Default Overheated

Jag overheated on my wife today. Luckily she was only about 1/2 mile from Hennesy Jaguar. She was smart enough to shut it down immediately. Car is at the dealership now. They will check it out tomorrow. She said the fans were not running and the air conditioner shut down. Drove it all over Atlanta this weekend, had a great time no problems. Am very nervous, only had it 2 weeks.

Sorry to hear about that, it is one of the things you do not want to happen to this vehicle. Make sure to ask for a print out of the codes pulled from the car and post them here for public consumption before agreeing to a slew of repairs you may not need. Also make sure to visually inspect the components that they identify as needing to be replaced for damage, and have them explain what went wrong to you in front of the car, pointing out the damage.

Years ago I bit on a new wiring harness for my Mercedes over the phone, before I looked at the 'damage' to my original harness; had I looked at my old harness first, I would not have authorized the 1900.00 replacement. This also occurred in the first two to three weeks of owning my Mercedes. When I got home from the dealership, I joined the Mercedes Forum and after reading through the various posts, I realized I had been ripped off, but good.

Good luck, I hope it is something minor.

Agree to nothing, especially any costly dismantling for 'investigation', until you have posted the dealership's initial findings.
