Just curious if anyone has done any type of coating such as ceramic or the like. If so, what has been your experience? Is anyone familiar with Rocklear?

 

I have ceramic coated all my vehicles. Living in the desert where there often blowing sand, you need all the protection you can get. You often see vehicles with the clear coat gone on their hood and roof. I apply it about every 6 months

 

I have a Feynlab Ceramic Plus self-healing coating on mine, and it looks incredible!
It was applied by a certified professional installer as it requires meticulous surface prep to achieve the best result. Not cheap, but completely worth it to me.

 

 

It does require a lot of prep if you want the proper protection and shine. I used a wax remover then used a clay bar to remove any tiny particles. In-between applications I give them a coat of Turtle Wax Ceramic wax.
