Park gear problem

Can you please say more?
Did you just put a new transmission in ("after putting transmission in" - not sure if you mean new/repacement/rebuilt tranny or you meant to say put transmission park)?
What exactly happens (lever moves into park? Nothing engages? How do you get the key out?)
does the car run?
Is she shifting ok?
I think the more info you can give us the faster/better answer you'll get. Let us know.

Sorry about the lack of info. Yes it is a rebuilt transmission zf5hp24. It starts in park, shifts fine, park lights up but won’t lock to keep car from rolling. It’s just that transmission parking gear does not engage in park, so I have to use the emergency brake so car doesn’t roll. I have tried adjusting the shifting cable with no luck.

Selector on ZF body
Have you checked the J Gate Gear lever module internals?
You said you tried adjusting the cable cable but was that at the side of the J gate?
You said the you had the ZF transmission body rebuilt. Have you checked the cable connector going to the ZF body’s selector. I think there’s an adjustment nut
