WhiteXKR,
2005 XKR, wired into the phone connector with a Scosche BT1200 bluetooth box. Audio + and - from the left speaker outs into the Audio + - on the connector I purchased. ALL audio going into the phone connector is quite low. I do have a small line level amp I could put inline...but wanted too see if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Phone volume does control the volume from the bluetooth box (which also has independent volume as does the phone) It's source agnostic, i.e. the phone or any bluetooth device will play through (and mute) the stereo audio when activated.

Phone handsfree is easy to hookup. Steaming music will be more involved.

The CK3100 is phone only. The X type audio interface is optical and needs a special interface. There is a member of the X-type group that sell them. Visit the X-type group...you will find help there.

So, no idea why I have VERY low volume with bluetooth (phone) turned all the way up and the PHONE mode on the stereo all the way up at #35?

It's crazy.
