Hi,

I need to replace this part from the J Gate, it has LNC 6195 AB UK on the back but I cant find it.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm based in the UK?

Not sure how much help this might be....

LNC6195AB is for the whole assembly, according to JEPC and Heritage, so you will be extremely lucky to find someone who will sell you that part separately. Heritage shows a price for its supersession (LNC6195AC) but no availability:

I'm not sure why, but it's apparently different for the XKR, so even harder to source



I think it is only a shutter/ dust excluder. Given the cost of the assembly, do you have all the broken bits to attempt a repair? Alternatively, that disc might be the same as the XK8 if you can find one - breaker?

 

As always Michael your a great help, the car still works and drives fine without this fitted so I think your right about it being a dust excluder.

I'll keep an eye out someone breaking there's or Ebay as you never know.

You will only get a gearbox fault if you try to use the left J gate side to shift into 4,3,2. (the D4 switch is activated by that cam plate)

The plastic plate is NSS. (not sold or serviced separately)

 

Thanks for the heads up motorcarman but I won't be using the left hand side of the Jgate untill I get a replacement part as last time I did I found the faulty part and could get the key out for a while.
