Default Part Number/Source Needed

Hey guys, I need the part number and a source for the rectangular black plastic clip which is bolted to the top rail of the windshield with two torx screws. Two metal clips from the overhead counsel snap into it. It is a 1999 XK8 convertible.

Have any of you just fabricated your own replacement out of aluminum?

Things went very well at MIT.

I am at Harvard now and it is awesome!

Update: Not a single ABS/Traction control light this year. :O)

Well done, Sabrina-

I had followed one of your links a while back, impressive stuff. My daughter has just landed at the University of Arizona as an Astronomy-Physics double major. She chose that program because of its proximity to all of the southern Arizona observatories (and she really likes the desert).

Kick *** at Harvard!

Default Thank you...

I had the wrong number--that is why I could not find it anywhere.

Thank you so much guys and whitexkr esp.

I found it on JagBits for $12, they were kind enough to mail a muffler mount to a Las Vegas hotel for me back in 2011, other places would not ship to an address other than my CC billing address.

P.S. Tell your daughter good luck in AZ, I was almost lured to Mesa where Boeing builds helos. They offered to put me up at the Hyatt for an entire summer, it was tempting, but WAY TOO hot in August--you could not have the top down during the day. The stars ARE amazing out there at night with the top down. We have too much street lighting here in Boston (and Chicago as well.)

There goes another of my illusions. I was under the impression you could have anything sent to a Las Vegas hotel.
