Default Pass seat raise

Today I noticed the passenger Seat dint raise. For, aft, recline work. I’ve read that maybe the raise function isn’t included for passenger seat. I’ve owned the car for a year, but just now noticed this. This forum is the best!
Anyone care to comment?

Default My 1999 XK8 passenger seat rises

Saw your thread and like you I’ve owned the car for a while and only recently had to raise the passenger seat.

When I fixed the rubber seat diaphragm I had to raise the passenger seat to access the 4 bolts to remove the mechanism base from the seat.

CORRECT.

Quote from JTIS - Seating Description & Operation:

"..... Options and market variations include leather/ambla trim with lumbar support adjustment, seat heating, driver's seat position memory and passenger seat height adjustment. ....."

It's also in the early brochures.
