Default pass seat won,t move.

Hi all;
I just did a floor pan repair on pass side on my 98 conv. After putting things back together, seat is dead. Won't move. Fuse ok. I did not disconnect battery before plugging seat connector in. My bad. Seat is all forward so I can get rear bolts in. but I can't move seat back. Could I have fried something by not disconnecting battery first?
.

Why not swap the seat control modules to see if that will operate the inop one?

Hi all;
I did swap the modules, and that's what it was. These things sure are sensitive that you can't plug/unplug them without removing power. Lesson learned. Is it possible to fix the module?

There are indeed companies that will repair some of our modules. One may be Module Masters or Module Pros. See if they pop up on Google....
