Default Passenger Front Window Gremlins

Aloha Fellow XK8ers,

Having an issue with my passenger's side window. It worked intermittently and now , not so much. When I press either window switch (drivers, passengers) I only get a clicking sound both in the "up or down" direction. When locking the car, the door locks will cycle open/close about 5 times. Replaced the window module (used) but still the same issue. I just want to make sure if I replace the window motor I'm fixing the problem.

P.S. Anyone know if there is a non-OEM motor that will fit?

Many thanks in advance,

Sounds like a door latch microswitch issue to me....

Try a HARD RESET and then door latch switch investigation as Jon89 suggested.

To check if its the motor put a bulb across the two wires feeding it ....if it lights but the motor does not run then its the motor...watch your fingers in there or you will loose them
