Default Playing in the snow

I don't get to take the XK8 out much in the winter, especially since I get stuck in the parking lot at work (the people who blow it out all drive 4x4s and don't care about people who drive cars, good thing I also have one) The summer tires aren't exactly great in snow, but I try to take the car out every few weeks. With the traction control off where nobody is around, the car slides very predictably. After everything was done I gave her a nice bath and tucked her back in the garage

I thought today I'd share some pictures. They would look even better, had I remembered to shut off the radio first

Picking up some Valentines day cards at Loopys:

Piles in town are a bit higher than the roof...makes it tough to see:

Sitting in the driveway, next time I'll just build a tunnel:

Out of town where bulldozers have pushed the banks back:

Both my 95 XJ6 & XK8 under the snow. You could say they were under the weather . We had 24in to 32in on the street.

We had that about a month back. Was not nice at all. My boss, who can be a bit clueless, wanted to know why I stayed home from work. I kept the XK8 in during that sort of thing though, the Escape had to weather it. Looks like you need a bigger garage too Did you get much wind with it, because I am amazed at how perfectly puffy the snow is sitting on the cars. I would guess you are facing the same problem we are, running out of space to put snow. We have had pretty mild winters for the last while, so this one seems extra bad. Until they pushed the banks back on the highways, every time we got some decent wind they would close the roads due to drifting. I'm hoping we are done with the big storms for a while. The light 1" dustings we have been getting I can deal with, but overall, I'm still sick of winter.

We had two snows. The second one gave us drifts at about 4ft with a lot of wind. The snows on the cars were only the first snow.
