Default Pre-wired?

Does Jag pre wire the cars for Navigation or would I have to get a harness and install it if I wanted to install a factory Navigation unit.

I don't think there is just one harness that is a separate entity for that purpose.

Are you considering grabbing all the harnesses for the entertainment system?

Do you have the wiring diagrams available?

The nav. and non-nav. harnesses are different, so though possible, it is not a simple mod.

IMHO, keep the 3 gauges. The nav. system is out of date (last update in 2003) and the gauges have a much more classic look. If you want to neatly mount a portable GPS unit, use a Kuda mount and hide the power cord in the shell: http://www.kudausa.com/manuals/jagua...kuda_mount.pdf

Anyone know a UK or mainland Europe supplier for an XK8 Kuda Mount?

This is their UK contact info:

KUDA-(UK) Ltd.
Crowcroft Road Ind. Estate
Nedging Tye
Nr. Ipswich,
Suffolk
IP7 7HA
Tel. 01449 744174
www.kuda.de

The German based website seems to only list truck components, but the UK phone number may be able to advise a contact.

Otherwise you can order online here:
KUDA Phonebase GmbH

I guess I'll just keep using my Garmin and leave the wires alone. These cars have enough wire problems without my making New ones. Ha ha ha .

Thanks for the information.
