Cool Premium sound system - RESOLVED

I've been reading the owners manual on the sound system. I'm not getting but just a little sound from the rear speakers, barely audible. Checked fuse #18 in the fuse box in the boot, no joy... any suggestions? Thanks, Bob

Do the BALANCE (Left - Right) or FADE (Front - Rear) controls have any effect at all?

Default Radio

L&R work up front, Fade only gives me the front. No L&R for the rear. I'm gonna mess with it some more.

Check the setting for the subwoofer. If it is not turned up, nothing will make it better. This is usually the problem.

Lightbulb Subwoofer

How do I check it? Is there a control in the boot?

No, use the radio controls like for Fade & Balance. The setting is SW Level or SW something, I forget. It should be at least on 4 or better, depending on how much you want the speaker to kick in.

Bob,

I've added 'RESOLVED' to your thread title to help anyone searching for this answer in future. For completeness, here's the premium audio setup summary:

The Sub-Woofer ranger is -7 to +7 (see section I've boxed in red):

The POSITION setting is another excellent feature. The entire balance can be optimised for the driver to balance the stereo image.
