My radio displays not only the station but the name of the singer if it's country or hip Hop etc. Is there a way I can change it to just show the station?

My car is a 1998 and it has a different radio than the 96-97. I have a book for the sound system but it shows the older style radio which doesn't help me.

RBDS is all or nothing (on or off).

It looks like turning off the RDS will give me what I am looking for.

I'll bet I am not the only one who just got a XK that has questions about stuff like this.

I find that even if you can find the owner manuals, they don't always have the answers either.
