Firstly, sorry I haven't posted in the for sale section. I don't have the post count to do so.

I have just replaced my wheels and am going to sell my original Montreals.

I wanted to offer them on the forum ahead of an Ebay listing so members could get first shout.

The wheels were professionally split and refurbished in the winter with new stainless rims, the hoops powder coated in bright silver, and the spokes powder coat primer with wet coat original silver paint then powder coat lacquered. I confess having marked one rim on a kerb I have just had it completely redone so it is perfect with another new stainless rim again and never been on the car. I would describe the other three as used but in very good condition. The refurb cost was getting on for £300 each.
Jaguar have these on list but cannot and apparently don't intend to supply again. These are getting so rare, the only other set I could find was advertised for over £2000!

The wheels are:

2 x BBS Montreal 9" x 20", 5 stud/pcd 120.65/offset 20/bore 73.9

2 x BBS Montreal 10" x 20", 5 stud/pcd 120.65/offset 18/bore 73.9

Sale includes
BBS valves, keys and covers with leather pouch
Full set of nuts including locknuts
Green growler centre caps (bit weathered - I would suggest you replace)

I am in Fife, Scotland.

I am very interested. Do you know the dollar amount in US money? How much to ship to Paramus New Jersey 07652 USA? Whats the overall condition? Any "curb rash" on rings?

I checked currency conversion so £1200 = $1850 at the moment.

I fixed the curb (we say kerb) mark as explained. The wheels do not have a "rash".

I checked UPS, FedEx etc and it appears you would be looking around $150 per wheel. There may be more economical options but I am not seeing them at first glance.

If you want to research this yourself you will need my town and postcode which are Glenrothes and KY7 4SB. Each wheel packaged measures 55cm x 55cm x 25 cm, and weighs 53lb (24kg).

That did come as a surprise, but you know its just nice to meet nice like minded people. I was able to help them swap wheels over and get tracking done to continue their grand touring holiday in style and safety. If I can make it to Oz that's another coffee stop lined up.

 

So he's brought the car from Oz and is touring Europe or has bought it here and is taking it back?
