As far as I know the ad is correct. Someone else more knowledgeable will chime in. While this is a beautiful low millage car IMO the price is high and I really don't like the two tone seats and door panel, the color just does not match well.
However with that said I'd jump on this car in a heartbeat if the price was more in line.

Rare and desirable only don't expect to make a fortune. There have been several limited editions of the XK8/XKR over the production run but they don't generally command a premium as yet.

No kidding! I would say at least $8k-$10k too high.
He clearly copied much of the description from somewhere on the net. He even missed that it says it has blue leather inserts.
Very nice looking car and certainly a desirable model, but keep looking. There are better values out there and as mentioned by Graham, the portfolios do not command a significant premium yet. Definitely not this much of a premium.

Portfolio
I paid about $27K for a low mileage blue Portfolio two years ago. It is a nice configuration (of course then I modified the crap out of mine). They come up every once in awhile if you look for them. This might not be bad if it was in incredibly good shape as it is easy to toss $10K on one of these cars to fix one that was either poorly maintained and/or left sitting too long. I'm more of a blue person though I almost bought a red one until my wife saw it and hated the color. But you have folks on this forum who have been chasing Recaro seats for our cars for years and this comes with them. What is kind of surprising is they didn't come with adoptive cruise control or folding mirrors standard (and I would have liked to have both). Anyway nice find!

There is an eBay listing for a red 2004 portfolio with 33k miles at $25k BIN. California car.

wow I did not know these cats existed, I love the wood grain pattern and 2 tone.
However, I could buy me a XKR remove the seats and trim, then have a guy two tone it himself with real cowhide leather and save a fortune.
Its weird, because you cant find a value on that particular model car, and that sucks, there is no listing for it. But wow only a few of these kittens are aound.

These are rare and back in 2008 when I was shopping around I came across a red one at some dealer down here (don't believe it was a Jaguar dealer, though) who had one of these listed ridiculously high and it never sold--I think at the time the price kept reducing into the $40s.
The one thing I did not like about the red portfolio is how the color of the interior (orangey red) clashes with the exterior. I think the blue portfolio was much better done.
