Default Real Gauge

Just installed the Real Gauge, sold by TheJagWrangler, nice product. Everything went well with the install and the start up. The instructions were very detailed, easy to follow and although I have been wrenching for 30 plus years I think the average DIY could handle it no problem. The Posi Taps were a bit fiddly at first but got easier to use as you went along. It is scary how uninformed you are with the stock gauge, there is quite a bit of needle movement now. It seems to work between about 187-200 degrees depending on driving conditions. This product is worth the money for piece of mind alone.

I installed it very shortly after WhiteXKR developed it and I agree, it's a must have.

I suggested to Steve that he develop one for the voltmeter, since so many of our problems are battery and voltage related. What do you guys think? I would find it alot more useful than an oil gauge.
Agreed that the temp gauge is the best thing going.

The factory gauge is responsive enough to tell if the charging system is working or not, but that is about it.

I am considering your request.

One issue is that the voltage at the front of the car varies like mad due to the varying loads over the long power cable runs to the battery in the boot. To do this properly and get stable readings, a pair of voltage sense wires would need to run all the way back to the battery, so some interior dis-assembly would be needed to run the wires.

That's why you're the man. Figures it's just not an easy mod, like reading voltage at some pt. on the dash feed. I really appreciate your taking the time to answer.

It would be an easy addition when you have to fix the green shower problem.
