The wife's 01 xk8 had a loose left rear wheel. The axle nut had come slightly loose. Seemed easy enough to tighten and locktite.

However, when its tight, the tire now rubs the metal/rubber axle bumper on the frame. It appears the wheel goes on about a mm or so too far.

I inspected the bearing and seals and they all are in good shape.
However he ABS reluctor ring appears to have a slight groove in it on the outside edge.

So off to ebay I go to get a new reluctor ring.

WTF! WHY IS A REAR ABS RELUCTOR RING 300+ DOLLARS?!

The front reluctor is like 40?

So I guess my question is, has anyone had the ring fail where it gets a groove in it?

Not getting any warning lights or any trac nonsense...
