rear end noises

Cool rear end noises
My 98 XK8 convertible has started giving a slight vibration and howling noise from the rear end. In hard turns it turns into a scraping sound. i know it has split rear axles. Do they have CV joints or U joints?

Yes they do. They have grease nipples as well

Thanks bt965, the mileage is 140k, I'm thinking the originals are worn and need replacing.

Look at the end of pilkies post on "Seized upper wishbone" posted today, theres some pics at the end of the thread that shows the rear drive/suspension setup, shows it all
