Default Rear Quarter Glass rubber failed

My drivers side quarter window glass has detached its self from the mounting. The rubber joint has failed. I can't find a replacement part. Anyone know of a solution or where I might find a replacement?

A photo would help. Windshield urethane is great for gluing glass in. That shtuff is nasty, though - if you use it make sure you have everything around the area that you don't want it to get on taped off. Some gloves to keep it off of your hands. Also some laquer thinner to wash off the excess. It comes in a caulking gun tube & once opened it will dry in the tube & can't be re-used... You can cut off the excess on the glass with a razor blade.

Found this for you:
Also found out it's called "setting tape". 58 years of building cars & i didn't know what to call it. Go to https://www.startpage.com/ & do a search for "automotive glass setting tape".

Default Update

Just extracted carrier from the car. It’s badly corroded. It needs refurbing which I will do at some point. In the mean time I found a replacement in the USA which I’m getting shipped via family.

the joys of classic cars!!😊
