Default Removing cam covers

I'm new owner of 98 XK8 convertible and I want to inspect the 2nd tensioners. Can someone tell me how to remove cam covers or point me to a previous post? I'm a little nervous not having worked on this car before... and also need the tightening torque numbers.

Thanks

Here is a good link to covers only. The only problem I had was removing the oil dip stick tube that sits on one of the bolts. Getting it out was no problem but it took me 15 minutes to get it back in.

The rest is easy.

Go to the link below. Lots of pictures and what I think is a good solution to the dip stick problem on the left side. It shows you what it looks like inside.

Default Thanks for the help!

I think I've got enough research... time to grab a wrench, remove the covers and see what tensioners I have.
