Default Removing nose...

How hard is it for a backyard mechanic (barely) to remove and replace the nose after it is repainted.

Thanks in advance

I've done it and it's not hard at all. Just some bolts that have to be undone and unplugging the lights. You have to remove the wheels and wheel well liners. It's all pretty logical. Just make sure you keep track of any spacers that "may" be in there for alignment purposes. Good luck.

Greetings,

There is a poster on JagLovers XK8 by the name of SKHannes...I recall seeing a writeup on his webpage about this, so I asked him to post a link on that forum. Check it out, he'll probably be able to walk you through the job.
