replacing dash lights
How do I remove the section for the trac, heated seats buttons, 4 ways etc?
The bulbs for the trac. button is out and the little red light is out for the driving lights when you turn them on.
I found the bulbs but I need to know how to get them apart.

You need to remove the J-gate surround and the center console. Then just remove the screws retaining the unit. See Sam's videos: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...minutes-60147/
The backlight lamp is plug-in repaceable ...the driving light LEDs are not. Those driving light LEDs are actually green and yellow and rather dim. Turn your headlights on and your dash brightness to max. and then further until it clicks (little knob on the left of the streering column) to make sure those LEDs are really out.
If those LEDs are really blown you have a few choices:
-Get a new or used replacement module
-Solder in new LEDs yourself
-PM me for details, I have replaced the LEDs on a couple of these for other folks for a nominal cost.

My main concern is the back light for the Trac button, It is out & you can't see it at night. The little red light for the fog light is not really a problem.
Thanks for the link to the video. I guess I will do the back light for the Trac button and live with the other one.
