Without doing too much research, I thought I'd ask first.

Looking to change rotors all around and pads.

I stopped at a local auto part store, and they told me that I need Semi-Metallic front and ceramic rear pads.

An internet search for a standard brake package is offering 4 rotors and semi-metallic all around or ceramic all around.

What exactly should I buy?
Not looking for high performance.

 

I have an 05 XK8. Just replaced all the pads to ceramic. Work great and no black brake dust that organic and semi metallic will give you.

 

I installed Akebono ceramics.
