Just started out of the blue, every once in a while the car will idle rough and you can smell gas out the exhaust and then 15 minutes later it is idling fine and exhaust smells normal.

Could this be a coil(s) going bad?

replaced most of my vacuum hoses when I got the car, so I do not think it is that, but I am going to check this weekend.

 

Could be a coil going bad - it will eventually eventually throw two codes, one of which will identify the problem cylinder.

Good idea to check the intake for leaks...
