I was wondering if anyone knew of this happening. Right after I got back from a long(1.5hr) drive I turned it off and went inside. About 10-15 mins later I needed to go somewhere real quick and headed out. Well it started really rough and seemed to come pretty close to dying.

Last time this happened the lower radiator hose blew off so I shut it off quickly. After shutting it off and waiting and turning back on it recovered I think it would have recovered had I left it on anyways.

Anyone know why this happens? Is it because the water pump is tied to the rpms it's not circulating fast enough at idle when it's still hot from the last trip?
