Hey Guys,

While my XK is in the shop they have given me an S type to drive. The key/fob is a one piece unit. (Key pin pops out the top of the fob).

Does anyone know whether or not the FOB is compatible with the XK8 alarm system. I asked at the dealership and got one of those -- Sure, let me check ---- responses.

Any idea what it costs to cut one of these keys ?

yes they are, or at least I should say I havent run into 1 i couldnt change to a flip key yet....and I have 2 flip key remotes for $75 ea shipped if you interested. theyre new and alot cheaper than the dealer pm me if interested

Who cuts the actual key portion ? Or do you have to order that ?
