A heavy handed passenger did not disengage the seat belt properly and cracked the beige latch cover. Apparently it is two pieces that are glued or snapped together. Have not been able to find a link to purchase a replacement.... Are they available ??

Hi Ken,

I needed the same part for my XJ40 a few years ago. I found someone in the jaguarforums.com classifieds who was breaking apart an XJ40 and I was able to get the entire seat belt receptacle on the cheap. Took fifteen minutes to unbolt the old section and replace it.

Look in the classified section for someone breaking a XK8/XKR with the same colour interior.
