seat module part #, 2005.
The seat module on 2005-2006 (USA) x100s is a different part number than earlier.
When I purchased my x100 I had (still have) weird actions + no heat. The previous owner had the unit replaced by an indy and threw away the original before discovering the strange behaviors. If I try to raise the seat bottom the left outside mirror flops in + others I forget at the moment.
I'm pulling the seats to refinish and thought it time to purchase the correct unit. Several years ago I read a thread from a fellow that had discovered the different unit was necessary after purchasing 'guarenteed' to work in his 2006, units did not in fact work. Does anyone know the part numbers for these last x100 autos?
thanks

Try swopping the seat modules and see if the no-heat issue follows the module. They are programmable parts, and 'no heat' is one problem that can occur if the programming isn't correct for the car.

Thank you Graham, much appreciated. I guess I need to plan on getting programming ability in my home garage.
Michaelh, are you saying that both l/r modules need to be operational for the mirror flop or?

They work in tandem to provide power to the foldback motors, so the foldback section of each seat module must be working to some degree.
