Default self jacking wheel dollies

I'm 99% sure that I'm getting the exact type of XK8 I've been looking for, but I'll save that for another thread when I have the title in my hands.

In the meantime, I need to get some wheel dollies, and I'd prefer the type that have a jack built in. Does anyone here have any experience with these? I'm curious whether there is anything I should be aware of, or if it might somehow damage the steel bands in the tire, etc.

I'm not entirely certain how these work but it appears that rather than simply lift a portion of the jack, it squeezes two bars together on either side of the tire, thus forcing the tire to rise. I may be wrong.

I was looking at the ones linked below, any recommendations or comments?
OTC Tools 1580 - OTC Stinger Easy Roller Vehicle Positioning Systems - Overview - SummitRacing.com
GoJak UTG6200PR - GoJak 6200 Dollies - Overview - SummitRacing.com (who the heck thought hot pink was a good color for garage equipment? it appears to be the most well constructed though.)
Dannmar 105415 - Dannmar ManSpace JAK N Go Vehicle Dollies - Overview - SummitRacing.com

The title of this thread just SCREAMS for a sarcastic comment from Reverend Sam, but I've been trying to control myself ever since I got the nastygram from Jim So... I guess I'll be serious for once. I don't think you need to worry about the dollies damaging your tires. Your car runs over objects that have the potential to do much more damage and yet your tire survives. I don't think I would leave the car up on the dollies for an extended period, but that's what's good about these dollies, you can jack them up, move the car, and then lower it pretty easily.

I noticed that in two of the links you provided the seller sells them as a pair, but in the other the other link they are sold individually. I just wanted to point that out in case you were thinking about buying the $149 ones. Four of those would cost $600, while four of the $209 ones would only cost $420.

But I'm married, so I don't have much experience with self jacking dollies.

We use them all the time and drive cars in the shop on them, so there. I use the not jacking under the race car and suburban in the garage and they work great as soon as you get all the dolly wheels heading the same direction

I have a 4 GoiJak 5000's. They are a little small for the Jag tires, but they work great. They are very well contructed and have been used many times over the years.

Thanks for the input. The GoJak's seem to be the most well constructed, however at $470/pair ($940 total), I'll probably go with one of the others unless I find a good reason not to.

@Rev: I spent a good couple minutes trying to title this thread anything but what I did, but I couldn't think of any other way to describe it, lol.
