Due for a belt replacement soon guys,April 2001 xk8,anyone out there happen to have the exact measurements or recommendations ,looking on line I fined conflicting lenths? 😕

Never mind, I missed it in your post....

 

rockauto.com shows a Gates K070922 serpentine belt for your particular vehicle and states that it measures 92.781 inches. I ordered and installed the appropriate Gates serpentine belt from rockauto.com for my wife's 2006 XK8 in July 2018 and it was a perfect fit....

 

I used the NAPA premium and it worked fine.

 

All similar yet not quite the same.. Came across 7PK2327, Dayco 5070925 (2325.12mm), etc. etc.

I sourced a Contitech 7PK2345 from the local motor factor. Strictly it is around 20mm too long. However, the indicator on the tensioner sits at the middle mark & I've not had any issues.

Ok guys,installed my belt today not a hard job to do around 20mins at the most,definitely recommend adjusting the bonnet for more room to work as you my no not much room to manoeuvre around there,belt fits perfectly thanks as always for the help😊👍
