Default She arrived.... XKR Victory Edition (2006)

Hi all,
I recently purchased an XKR Victory Edition @83k mile and she finally arrived. Here are some pics from the seller (I will post mine shortly)
This is my very first Jag and I'm so excited to see her in person. The quartz metallic was not my favorite but I couldn't resist it.

One immediate attention needed, though. I found a big coolant puddle (yes, puddle, not droplets and it's pinkish) at the rear center of the engine. Seems like it is from the pipe/hose between the reservoirs and the engine but not 100% sure. I will pour some distilled water in the reservoir first thing in the morning to identify the leakage. Any comments would be appreciated.
Nonetheless, I am so happy to be an owner of this XKR.
Cheers,
JW

The coolant reservoirs tend to leak at the hose nozzles and/or seams after just a few years of baking in the engine bay. I would look there first....

Congrats on your new Baby. She is a real beauty. You have found the best location for info of any kind on your XKR. Most of it will be very correct.

Friend if you're gonna change the resivior you have to disconnect the thin plastic tubes that run on top of engine to the front.

Plan ahead. These break real easy, have a few feet of rubber coolant hose ready to slip over and join the remaining unbroken plastic tube!
