Default Shock mounts

What are the best replacement front shock mounts for the x-100?

The ones that are custom-made by forum member Wayne (cjd777) right here in North Carolina. Many of us have been running them during the past couple of years. PM him for details....

My driver's side suspension started clunking badly today, about 3 miles into a drive. Here's what I found. Thanks for the post, I may have to contact Wayne. Assuming I can get original replacements or Wayne's pieces, is this a repair I could do myself, or should I use my trusted Jaguar shop? Thanks!

Seeing those pics, two things immediately come to mind.
(1) if Wayne can't help PM me, l can help.
(2) Find a new trusted jaguar shop. That did not happen in the last 3 miles.

Yes, it's been building up for a LONG time, today is the day it chose to fail completely. I have a Jag tech locally I will speak with first. Thanks!

it's not a bad DIY - plan on upper shock mounts, bump stops (can use Moog part number K90460 - just use bump stop with your existing bellows), I would also look at bushings and ball joints to see if they need replacing get it all done at once (lower ball joints are a PITA but can be done DIY without replacing the entire assembly), then take it to get an alignment. Too bad you don't live nearby - we could knock that out in an afternoon

Thanks for the replies and info Steve and Wayne! I had the bushings replaced about 2 years ago. Everything else was checked over by a Jag mechanic and checked out okay.
