Default Sick cat has blown head gasket 98 XK8 98K

As reported in earlier thread, Sick cat. No pressure in 6 and7 cyl. on l/h bank. I had a quote of 3k plus any head work. I have started my own tear down and have cam covers off but I cannot find rad. drain ****. I have found large screw type plug on r/h side with large screwdriver slots at 90degrees to each other, would that be the drain plug, and where would one refill when job is done. I am sure some one has done this job before so any heads up would be appreciated. I have worked on the old sixes but this my first go at a V8, how bad of a job is it, looking ugly right now.

The slotted screwdriver plug is, indeed, the drain. You refill the coolant at the reservoir pressure cap. Getting all the air out of the system takes a little effort but not a big problem.

While I have seen a number of head gaskets, fortunately, not any Jaguar ones.
