Default Side Marker Front Lens Replacement

I'd noticed in my travels on jagforums I'd seen a pic that someone had replaced thier front side markers lens from amber to clear. I was interested in doing this but my search for said part hasn't been fruitful. Anyone know where I could get a set of these ?

I purchased a pair on E-Bay UK, was able to get one pair for the front, didn't want the rear. Also purchased chromium bulbs from a US source so there is no egg yoke look through the lens.

See my Avatar, it has the clear lens.

I love some things from Adamesh, but can't get myself to accept the clear side markers lens style. The lens are flat (does not look natural), and seem rather silver than transparent.
I would recommend 8ru seller (based of GB) who literally sells the clear version of stock quality side marker lens. Recent auction link below:
4 x Jaguar XK8 XKR Clear Side Bumper Reflector Lenses 4 Pieces | eBay

Also, I am running LED bulbs on my car (in color) from CARID - see link below:
Lumen® - Jaguar XK-Type 1997-1999 Front Side Marker LED Bulbs
Make sure to order whether Standard, 40 lumen, Short (194 / 2825 Bulb) or 50 lumen, Long (Tight Fit), because the Plasma 400 Lumen option is simply too long (from own experience ).
Regards!

I second dannyS's comments about the Adamesh ones seeming sort of "silver" and not a very good replica of the OEM amber lenses as far as the contours of the lenses go. Generally speaking, though, many of their products are great. Don't want to disparage their brand.

I, too, ordered my clear side markers and side indicators from eBay seller 8ru and I highly recommend them.

Just a note, not sure if this is the same with the Adamesh ones, but these are only the lenses. You must remove the amber lenses from the factory housing and then adhere the new clear ones. The side indicators came with the housings and just snapped right in.

I have red rear side markers, and I prefer the red over both clear/amber for the rear.

Do you have to have them? I always thought the side reflectors spoiled the look so I deleted mine. Not had an issue at inspection time.

No requirement for side markers in the UK.
A chap at a recent Jag meet had them colour coded, I may be doing this, as for the indicators on the wings, they are the same as Mk2 Ford Mondeo's and Mk5 Escorts from the late 90's, one of the benefits of being linked to Ford.
Less than half the price too! (Jag Tax)

I got my side marker lights from Adamesh and think they go well with my XKR color.

I like the cleaner look. In the UK those are reflectors correct? In the US they are illuminated.
This got me thinking, if I delete the side markers on the front bumper, can the constant power from the light switch be re-routed to the side repeater and interrupted when the turn signal or hazards are used?

Mine are illuminated (as are all in US I'd guess), I'm keeping the RED ones in the back since they blend well with the rear lights, but triple black with a (they call it amber, I call it ugly yellow, and true it's there for safety first) since the headlights are clear I feel the clear marker in front is more appeasing, I'll get the clear bulbs as well.
