Default Sold my Jag ( Sniff Sniff)

Its with a heavy heart to say but I am no longer a Jag owner. I sold my 99 XK8 Friday night as i just could not keep driving 70 miles back and forth to work. I wanted to find someone who would take care of her as i advertised my car as a ADOPTION and not a sale.

To anyone reading this that is new owner new forum user, let me be clear that this forum is the best by far of any other auto forum out there. You will always find some with so great advice and solutions for anything with your Jag.

I wish to personally thank GUS and BRUTAL who without those 2 I would have sold this car along time ago. They both helped me get thru the initial time with the car when i thought all was lost... they insured me it was not.

Thank You!

I am not deleting me from this forum as I hope to assist those that I can with the little bit of knowledge that i have gained. I have also invited the purchaser to this forum as i would not have a jag without it.

Thanks to everyone here....God Bless!

Infinity 2008 G37S Coupe. Love it so far... but i do miss the "sky"! The sunroof is NOT a convertible.

Actually back in 2008 when I was looking for something fun to replace my Corvette, the car that was high in the running was the G37 Coupe. I have always thought that the Infiniti's were great cars but in the end I went for the then 3-year old Jaguar. It ended up significantly less than what something like the G37 or BMW 335i (which I was also considering) would have cost out-the-door.

I am sure you will find the G37 a fun and reliable car that is suitable as a daily driver.

Sorry the cat had to go. You never know, things could change and another Jag could be just around the corner. Been there myself in the past.

Glad you're sticking around the forum. The more the merrier.

A sunroof is not the same as a full ragtop, but at least you have the Chevy!

Mike,

Sorry to hear the XK8 had to go but good to hear you'll be sticking around here. There could be another Jaguar in your future.

Graham
