Default Spam caution

I received a PM from a spammer that directs you to a site that attempts to download junk to your computer. The username is ccaitli929 so be cautious.

Yep, had that too, just hit delete, never bothered to try the link tho' - what did it try to download ?

I'm kinda surprised a spammer has that much spare time, never been pm'd by a spammer before!

The link takes you to one of those websites where you get a huge warning message that your computer is infected and needs a scan. If you hit okay it downloads a bunch of junk software that you could never get rid of (ask me how I know).

Yeah--I was smart enough this time around not to get sucked into this scam but I was not so smart a few year ago. At that time it took me hours to sort out my computer to remove all traces of the malware that was downloaded.
