Default Steering exit and entry.

When I put the key in the ignition the wheel should go down but it doesn't always. When I try to put it down with the switch on the column it takes two or three tries before it goes all the way down. Any ideas?

Join the crowd. Annual dues, payable to me, $200/year. ;-)

Many have written the same, some have written fixes but I have yet to read anyone absolutely, 100% fixing the issue.

I have replaced DOZENS of tilt motors (mostly in warranty) and all that is required is a new tilt motor assy.

I'm sure the dealer has them or can order them.

If it is too pricey then just do what most people do................. put the switch to OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beav,

Did you ever get your 'reach' motor solution working and more importantly get it documented so I can fix mine?
