Default Steering problem

This has me stumped. I was having the classic XK8 intermittent ABS, Brake warning and loss of speedometer. Sent the ABS module in for rebuild but when reinstalled, nothing changed. Cleaned all plugs with contact cleaner also. Intermittent failure continued and then I noticed something strange. While steering in a curve, the steering wheel would have a slight jerk and then speedometer would fail immediately followed by ABS and brake warnings. If I turned the car off and restarted, the speedometer would work again and eventually the ABS and brake warnings would cancel. This has happened several times, each time following a slight steering jerk. Is there some kind of electrical steering assist that could be causing the problem?

I am going to have to ask. What DTCs are logged in the ABS module? (I know, the readers are expensive and not everyone has one)

Without knowing the trouble codes, all we can do is guess. (let the guessing begin)

Rebuild people said no codes from the module. I do have a "steering out of limits" code. Just don't understand the jerk in the steering.
