More abs issues and lpg
Hi guys so after I replaced the rear cv joints with abs rings I went and done my MOT today, after about 5 miles of driving I got ABS LIGHT ON(lucky it did not turn on during the mot) anyway I also noticed that the abs was turning on when ever I brake even if I just lightly touch the brake pedal(is this normal for the xtype?) I went shopping and when I was coming back the engine light came on which I will talk about later, so anyway I plugged in my laptop and what I saw was strange
ERROR P1145,P1155,P1165,P1175 all ABS SENSORS!!!!! also the red brake light came on, so I erased the codes and after driving about 2 miles it still as not come on so any ideas on this guys??
Second thing I got the engine management light which said there is a problem with fuel rail P0191 when I run on petrol or lpg its ok after about 30 min drive this problem came up(I only drove it today once so dont know if it will come on tomorrow)
Anyone know what this might be??
Thanks guys

NW, based on the codes that you are getting for the ABS system, I would venture to guess that the plug for the ABS module is loose and as you hit a bump or something, you are wiggling the plug enough that it is making intermittent connection. The other thing may be that you are getting a little bit of water inside the plug and that is shorting out the signal, depriving the ABS module of the needed signals. This will normally be more of an issue when it is raining or you send the car through a car wash. I am not sure if this may tie things together for you.
As for the ABS system kicking in, if you have active faults in the system (ie, the computer is seeing a wrong signal at the time that you are stepping on the brake pedal), it will assume that the wheel is locked up and it is engaging the ABS system to make that wheel stop spinning. In reality, the wheel is spinning just fine, but that is not what the computer is seeing. So, the computer is responding to what it is seeing. So, based on what you are seeing, this would be an expected thing for your car.
As for the fuel rail, can not help you there.

Thanks guys for the quick and helpful answers, and yes thermo as you said it might be an issue with water/dampness getting into sensors or other components as here in UK it rains all the time. Also before I get the abs light its kicking in all the time but when the light comes on its like normal braking now also do you know why the red brake light might come on?? when I clear the faults for abs it goes off and after some time it comes back on with the abs.

Before the computer registers the code into the computer again, it will see it as an actual wheel not spinning. So, at that point, the ABS system will pulse the system to make the wheel spin again. As you can imagine, this will cause the pedal to vibrate pretty good as nothing it does will make it spin. Once the computer admits there is a fault, it ignores that input and therefore, does not need to pulse the system to get that wheel going again. I probably was a little misleading on my above posting.

could this problem be because of a faulty abs pump?
I want and asked my mate mechanic and he said it could be a faulty abs pump, now Im thinking this could be it as I replaced rear abs rings, front abs sensor but im still getting obd errors for all the wheels (p1145 1155 1165 and 1175 if I remember correctly) also the red brake light is on as if the hand brake was on. so could this be the problem? also I gave the big plug a good clean that goes to the abs pump.

NW1996, the code that you are getting are showing that the computer is not seeing how fast the wheels are spinning, not how well the brake system is working. The two are only related by the fact that the ABS computer needs the wheel speeds to determine how much pressure to apply to each wheel.
Based on what you are seeing, it is looking more and more like an ABS module that has died or the harness going to the module is damaged.
