Default Stereo XK8 to XK8 swap problem.

Swapping an aftermarket Kenwood radio from my older 97 XK8 to the newer one.

In connecting everything, I'm left with an extra 6-pin DIN cable. The new car has the triangle tweeters and dash speakers, the old one doesn't. I know the black DIN goes to the trunk CD player, but not sure what the light-colored one does.

In the new car, the Kenwood turns on but no sound. If I reinstall the OEM radio it works. If I remove the light-colored DIN cable, no sound.

Looks like the newer car has an upgraded system with extra amplifiers and the DIN feeds the amps. Am I right?

If so, is there an adapter to go from my RCA connectors on the Kenwood to this DIN?

Thanks for any pointers.

The wiring harness on my older XK8 (Donor car)

Wiring harness on the destination XK8. (Note the extra (light-colored) DIN.
