Stuck in park- 2003 XK8
Latest cat trick. Started up just fine. Would not get out of park. Stopped and restarted a few times and it did fine. Drove it on an errand. No issues.
Any ideas?

The park solenoid is holding it in park because it doesn't detect your foot on the brake to release it. The brake switch is beginning to have difficulties. You may have to change the switch soon. There is a lot of great info here about it. Just do an advance search for brake switch repair.
