If I get my hands on a quaife ... who, in the states, could the components be sent to for a quality & proper install/set-up ?

Anyone with experience building diffs and properly setting them up should be able to do the work, there is nothing too magical about it, just takes some care and knowledge to set the lash properly.

I had mine done in Tucson at a place called Falconworks. Also had the ring and pinion shot peened and nitride coated while they were out.

It has to be done right, and to set the lash properly you also need to have the right shims, not everyone has these ones. Also you have to take the diff apart again when the its not right, so here and with the shims one could take shortcuts.

That happened to me when I bought a diff in the UK with the Quaife in it, took less that 6K miles and the diff was shot.

Falconworks seem to do it right, so at least one address in the states.
