Suspension Fault
Replaced upper shock mounts yesterday and now have the suspension fault. I used an allen wrench in the shock rod to prevent turning while removing/re-installing the nuts, so I don't think I messed up the wiring in the shock. I have checked the two fuses also, no problems, has anyone else had this problem, if so is there a fix?? Thanks for the info if any.
I'm certainly nonexpert,,, but yours is a very very good idea/suggestion. Many times I have worked on my car (with the battery connected) and ended up with faults that would either clear in short time or clear with obd. These cars don't like to be messed with while there is power in their,,, systems..
The system is pretty simple, if you see the error there is a fault present, it’s not a stored code. Did you remember to plug the shock back in? 😀
I would try cleaning the contacts in the top of the shock and the connector first off.
