Only X-types are available with manual transmissions in USA.
It would be great to get S-type and XK8 with manual.

 

 

Not a cheap or easy conversion - do you have deep pockets or is this a casual question?

 

This publication has an interesting 5 page article on an XK8 manual conversion by Elite & Performance Jags in Derbyshire, UK. They used a 1997 XK8 and fitted a US-built Tremec six-speed unit sourced from an Aston Martin Vanquish:

The S-Type was available from Jaguar as a manual (as that one is likely to be) - but not the V8.

Very unpopular - low sales.

 

I owned a 2001 S Type with 3.0 V6 and 5 speed Getrag transmission for about 5-6 years. Absolutely great driving car. Plenty of power, slick shifting trans, and great handling as it only weighed about 3550 lbs. It had lived a hard life before me, and after a few years the paint was pretty shot, along with a few other misc. maintanence items, so I traded it for my Cadillac CTS. But that Jag was fun to drive. It even got 30 mpg on the interstate.
