Default Throttle body adjustment screw

Anyone know the procedure for adjusting the external screw on the throttle body (opposite side to the TPS location) on an 1998-9 XK8/XKR? I am refering to the screw that sets the stop position for the disc that is moved by the throttle cable. I remember reading about this somewhere but cannot find the information any more!

I thought I read the throttle was fly by wire, and the cable was only used as a way of getting home, if the electrics fail.....could someone who knows better clarify this....Mike
