In the last week I have replaced the valley hoses and the dreaded octopus hose. I found a very dry rotted c shaped hose that attaches to the throttle body and i think the other end attaches to the tube from the valley hose. Its not a big hose but I cant seem to find a part that looks like it in my searches.

Perhaps you can post a photo of the hose. There is a hose that matches your description: NNE3246BA that is part of the fuel injection system.

I think you have solved the riddle. The hose is shorter on one side than the pictures but I believe that the PO shortened it since there are 2 spring clamps pushed towards the center and two screw camps are at the connections. Thanks for your help

Thanks. Only one appears to be rotten. Maybe I will just get both and be done with it.

 

do it all while you are in there. Ya only want to do it once. I was in your place about this time last year

 

I will order it tomorrow. Then start pecking away at suspension, lower ball joints
