Default Throttle position sensor - sweet spot

I have spent a number of days making small adjustments to the position of the TPS. Too far clockwise gives poor idle and too far anti-clockwise gives an abnormally high idle rpm. Different positions that work give a TPS reading between 1,2% and 2,5% at idle (using a TB is drilled out to 82mm).

My current setting gives 2,5% at idle at 600-700rpm. I am wondering if the 2,5% may be a bit on the high side causing the engine not to run optimally in other respects. For example, I note that some posts indicate around 1,9% at idle.

Is there some kind of ideal percentage at idle - i.e. a sweet spot?

Any opinions or advice are very welcome!

You know you have to reset the electronics by disconnecting and holding the +ve/-ve battery leads together after every change of tps position?

Sire - I remove the groiund connection whilst working and do a short prior to reconnection. At the moment, I turned it back a fraction and now it is at 2%. I will check how things behave!

Still, it would be good to know if there is an optimum setting for the x100 SC.
