Tire rub.

Tire rub.
I was doing a bit of spirited driving yesterday and noticed some tire rub on the outside wheel going into a corner. I really wasn't being brave so it was a bit of a shock and I know you are going to say "get shocks". The car is very firm in the front when I push on it and I checked a friends and his felt the same. Both cars ride so well it would be hard to believe we both need shocks. Tire size is standard and inflated to 32 PSI.
Am I being over concerned.

I did some very "spirited" driving along Sunset Blvd. near the beach, today, spirited enough so that the damn traction control kicked in several times on some very twisty portions. No tire rub and never have had any. You need to find out why, 'cause if it's not shocks it could be something more sinister. Make sure to learn why.

At 14 years old, the front springs could be sagging enough. When I replaced the springs on my 97 all tire rubbing stopped. I had previously put new shocks and upper mounts on it. Still rubbed the tires on bumps. See my Nose Lift thread for the results. Measure your ride height (see chart attached).
