XK8 4.0 1998 'Total Care Book' either to view online or preferable where can one obtain a copy?

 

Try looking at https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...cle/lookupForm . I couldn't see any "Owner's Information" section in the documents area for the 1998-99 models but it appears from 2000, click on "Owner's Handbook" and see if one of them is what you are after. There is a vehicle care handbook listed.

The Total Care book forms part of the original Vehicle Literature Pack for the 1998MY XK8. It covers breakdown assistance and warranty:

JJM 10 29 99_70 - Total Care.pdf

This is an unusual document to be wanting as all the benefits described will have expired long ago. Is it possibly the Vehicle Care Handbook you want? This describes routine maintenance and minor repairs.
